"Enjoying" Stupid People Behaviors

By Umar Anung
Dealing with stupid people is different from addressing the smart people, smart people when it warned of something even necessarily understood by signs, while the fool sometimes even with the thousands of words he could not understand, let alone just a gesture.
One day I masbuk (left) in a congregational prayer. When the priest greeting, of course I stood up again to complete the remaining cycles of prayer. When he reached the sitting tahiyyat, suddenly there beside my congregation who want to pass in front of me. I am prevented by hand because the practice of hadith the prophet, "If one of you prays, let him pray facing sutrah (barrier, whether it's people, walls, and semisalnya) and be closer to him and do not let anyone pass between him and the sutrah. If someone passes in front of the fight because he is syaithan. "(Narrated by Ibn Majah)
But rather than understand the magic of this man, he instead continued to stand there looking at me, as though nothing like what I do. Because I still allow it passed in front of me, he finally could not be passed in front of me but through my back, pushing my back! Strange but true! I just husnuzhon maybe this person ignorant / stupid to the laws of prayer, so he did not understand when I allow it passes in front of me.
Also includes the characteristics of people ignorant / stupid is emotionally beat logic. My friend and I, or perhaps all of us who have studied science syar'i / religion may be a while never advise or remind people going foolish mistakes. But instead of receiving the advice, eh even emotional and angry, and we've advised him with a fine and gentle, but that's characteristic of fools, his emotions overcome logic.
Then what is our attitude to him? Emotional and angry, too? Gee, if we are angry with him also means we are no different dong, equally stupid! A fool with all the less civilized behavior was sometimes make us upset, but sometimes also invite our laughter. That "entertainment" we, so let's just say it was an opportunity to train ourselves to be a wise and patient. We'd better follow the example of just what the Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wasallam exemplified in addressing the fools.
Mentioned in Sahih Bukhari and Muslim, that Anas Bin Malik quoted 'anhu had accompanied Prophet alaihi wasallam in a journey. Amid the trip, he met with a A'raby (arab mountains), suddenly this attractive addition to clothes A'raby Prophet alaihi wasallam hard. I was so hard to pull this A'rabi imprint on his shoulder. Later this A'raby said, "O Muhammad give me the treasure of God that is in you!" And how his attitude? Angry and cursing A'raby earlier? Apparently, he smiled and then ordered to give him a property Anas!
Why he was not angry and reply to the less civilized behavior A'raby earlier? Is he afraid? Of course not. He is one of the most daring than his friends and he also never afraid of anyone except Allah. He could retaliate, but he says the attitude in the face of a fool, that is forgiving, patient and wise not easily carried away.
So did the friend quoted 'Mas'ood they imitate him in this regard, among other noble friend quoted Omar bin Khattab anhu. Mentioned in Sahih Bukhari ever there was someone who wanted to see 'Umar, and when that' Umar became Caliph, the beliaupun allow it. When already there in front of 'Umar who said the man said, "Heh, Ibn Khattab, for pity's sake do not you give us the gift that much and not too fair in giving the decision between us!"
Notice the "decency" this guy, he called Umar Bin Khattab by dialing the less civilized namely Ibn Khattab, not with the call of honor, then he was also yelling at him in front of people, but when was he was a leader or head of state.
So if he is angry? Yes obviously angry, rude treated like that. Beliaupun want to hit him, but when he almost hit him, said his friend, Al-Hur bin Qais to him, "O amirulmuminin (call of honor to the caliph at the time), Allah says to His Prophet, 'Take the attitude of forgiveness, enjoin the Maruf and turn away from stupid people. " (Al-A'raaf: 199) and this guy including his fools. "
So how attitudes' Umar? Beliaupun out the attack to hit this fool after hearing the verse. Subhanallah!
So the attitude of the best people of this Ummah. Then what about us? Ready we emulate them? Or we remain angry, confused thinking and stress behavior "weird" people dumb? If we are ready, let us "enjoy" just their behavior, may Allah give us an abundant reward from Him ....
